Yesterday (July 31, 2011), was my mum's birthday! YEAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BELOVED MUM! I made her a handmade gift.

To celebrate mum's birthday, we both went to Sushi Tei Mall Kelapa Gading! Yippie! We ate sooo much ahahaha but I only remembered to take a few photos of our foods.

DOBIN MUSHI! (土瓶蒸し) is a traditional Japanese seafood broth, steamed and served in a dobin tea pot with shrimp, chicken, soy sauce, lime, and matsutake mushroom. I introduced this food to my mum just like what kak Rahayu Saraswati did to me on my birthday a few weeks ago :D and my mum liked it :D
CHAWANMUSHI! (茶碗蒸し, literally "tea cup steam" or "steamed in a tea bowl") is an egg custard dish found in Japan that uses the seeds of ginkgo. The custard consists of an egg mixture flavored with soy sauce, dashi and mirin, with numerous ingredients such as shiitake mushrooms, kamaboko, yuri-ne (lily root) and boiled shrimp placed into a tea-cup-like container. 
AT LAST BUT NOT LEAST...... my favourite of all time.....
Sushi Tei has a birthday program. If their costumer is having her/his birthday, they will give them a free birthday cake. And this is my mum with her free birthday cake :p
